Michelle and Tom are Heavenly, London

So Barack and Michelle Obama went and paid a jolly visit to the jolly (?) Queen of England, and her old husband, who is only a prince. Michelle wore some outfits, but this one was easily the standout. Tom Ford, you’ve done it again (despite the fact that, according to Cairn at least, he cannot sew).
My only [minor] complaint – why the white bow? What value does it add to the overall ensemble? (Oh I’ve been business jargoning all day and I’m not stopping now.)
Tom Ford, though, perhaps despite his own inability to sew, creates such splendid things I almost cannot go into his store without commiting robbery. Tom, if you’re looking for muses, I’m available. I’ll muse the heck out of you.
Mobama, by the way, is my professional style inspiration. Wearing office attire can be dull dull dull, but Mich manages it in a way that covers all the bases – professionalism, stylishness…and those are the only bases I can think of.
American royalty for sure. Barack’s not looking too bad either.

I only say that cause his degree is in architecture, but who are we kidding, I’m sure he can sew with his hands behind his back. He’s perfect and I wish I could be part of his crew.
Did you read that Obama flubbed up and tried to toast to the Queen before they played “God Save the Queen.” Apparently a big deal.
Also my British co-worker says there are all other wacky rules such as you can’t speak to the Queen unless you’ve been address and if she stops eating you have to stop too.
Yeah I’ve heard about all those protocols…also if anyone had worn the same color as her at Will & Kate’s wedding, there would have been hell to pay.
BTW, that white bow didn’t bother me until you mentioned it and now I HATE it.
the obamas are the ones that look like royalty. also i think he added the white bow cause then the dress would have looked too versace
