Designer Mary H
The difference between Mary H bags and others is that you can wear them 3 different ways.
Hi Mary H!
This is what she had to say…
Hi, my name is Mary and I’m the Creator of Designed by MaryH. I was born and brought up in Sweden and have Asian background. I may look slim, but I really like to eat and cook as well. I like seafood a lot, but don’t eat spicy. And most of the time I like dessert after dinner. Except for working almost every day, I like to dance to Disco and 80s music. Even though I’m not a frequent party person, I like to meet new people and cultures, and I’m easy-going and sociable too. I’m also fine with staying at home watching DVDs with my boyfriend, and if we do I prefer watching comedy and funny movies. I don’t smoke and I hate cigarettes. I drink coffee everyday even if I should try to drink less, and I have a bad habit of sleeping late (maybe it’s linked). I have blue belt in Jujitsu (but I’m a nice person). I would like to have a boat (I don’t know how to sail) but would like to sail around the world. I like dogs and would love to have one (maybe one day, when I’m moving around less).
For the brand I created, my Scandinavia and Asian background influences my creations. I don’t see myself as a fusion brand, but a brand that offers sophisticated, minimalist and timeless designs with
a touch of colour. The bags are small, in fact, to fit what you actually need to carry with you. It’s for women that are self-confident and want to look effortlessly chic. We don’t want to change a woman’s personal style but complement it, with stylish and functional leather items to fit all kinds of women and for their different occasions all year round.
I would rather be overdressed than underdressed any day. I am all for casual in everyday wear, especially having married into casual (a Hawaiian boy), but so inappropriate. This was taken at the launch of 6 Magazine, a new fashion editorial mag. When the occasion calls for it, dress appropriately. If you don’t know the rules just do not wear board shorts with sandals at a cocktail event or past 8 pm, unless there is a swim-able body of water within 2 miles. The Huangpu River does not count. I wouldn’t even dip my toe in that.
P.S. Please never wear that combo of flowers on flowers ever again, perfect stranger. Honesty hurts.

Iiiiiiii…do not love this look as a whole. But purple loafers win. I think if the shorts and shirt were less schlubby this would work really well. Mocassins kind of beg for a more tailored look, but stick with muted colors on top to let the shoes pop. Fewer anklets might be a good idea too. Just saying.
If anyone recognizes the designer of these shoes let us know!

Going into the fall season and I am still in love with this color.
Doesn’t this look like a sweet dream? As if the floppy sun hat and Audrey glasses weren’t darling enough, there’s a puppy which usually always makes everything better (can you tell that all 3 of the writers on this site are dog owners?).
The gal in this photo randomly rescued me when I crashed on my face on my electric bike. And her boyfriend wheeled my scooter to safety. So they’re pretty much heroes in my book. And cute to boot. So simple, so lovely and so perfect for summer in Shanghai.

Eve is one of my favorites in Shanghai. Graphic Designer by trade, Eve looks more like a big shaker and mover in the fashion world with her adept knowledge of designers and versatility in wardrobe. Artsy fartsy in hand-painted print dresses on Mondays, Latina Betty Draper on Wednesdays, sexy hot siren in tube leather dress combed with metal jewelry on Fridays.
Eve is also part of our 3-person team for the upcoming Naked Retreats Moganshan Potjie Triathlon weekend. Husband will be swimming, Eve will be mountain biking, and I will be walking.
